  • Assess molecular pathways, targets, histotypes, mutation status, and new staging systems for lung cancer, to improve diagnosis and associated treatment decisions that improve patient outcomes.
  • Apply knowledge of MOA, efficacy, and safety of current and emerging agents indicated for the treatment of patients with lung cancer, with consideration of meaningful endpoints, in order to optimize clinical outcomes.
  • Integrate personalized medicine methodologies to customize therapies for patients with lung cancer, based on an understanding of molecular and genetic factors associated with the disease, gender differences, never-smokers vs smoker differences, and considerations in the elderly.
    • Chemotherapy—including paclitaxel, pralatrexate, and talotrexin
    • Chemoradiation
    • Neoadjuvant & adjuvant chemotherapy
