The goal of this activity is to provide up-to-date information and multiple perspectives on the evolving pathogenesis, symptoms, risk factors, and complications of T2DM as well as current and emerging treatments and best practices in the management of patients with T2DM.

- Formulate treatment strategies based on new evidence on the benefits of optimal control of blood pressure in persons with type 2 diabetes mellitus in order to minimize the progression of vascular and renal diseases associated with hypertension.
