Susan Hostetler, CCMEP, Senior Vice President, Program Management & Design
Ms. Hostetler has established a long (20 years-plus) and successful track record as a key strategic thought leader and hands-on producer at Projects In Knowledge who has been instrumental in developing and advancing the company’s CME/CE programs and spearheading numerous educational initiatives. Directing all aspects of Projects In Knowledge’s program management, design, and editorial content development efforts, she leads a diverse and creative team of project directors, editors, designers, technical staff, proofreaders, and support personnel. Ms. Hostetler’s leadership and exacting quality standards have enabled Projects In Knowledge to produce a wide variety of exceptional, innovative, and award-winning activities, including print publications, live meetings, webcasts, podcasts, multimedia presentations, and certificate programs, among many others.
Ms. Hostetler is highly involved in educational outcomes measurement, evaluating and monitoring practice changes that clinicians implement after participating in Projects In Knowledge’s activities and incorporating participants’ feedback into future activity designs. She was also an important contributor to Projects In Knowledge’s successful applications for ACCME reaccreditation, awarded in 2006, and ACPE accreditation, granted in 2007.
Prior to joining Projects In Knowledge, Ms. Hostetler managed medical projects for a firm in New York City, and also produced an extensive series of CME-certified educational programs. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and English, and also studied design at Parsons School of Design and New York University. Ms. Hostetler is currently a member of the National Association of Medical Education Companies (NAMEC), the Alliance for CME, and the Healthcare Business Women's Association (HBWA).
