TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is designed for medical directors, pharmacy directors, and nurse case managers who provide care for patients with lung cancer.

ACTIVITY GOAL
The goal of this CME/CE activity is to provide state-of-the-science highlights and associated information from ASCO to educate managed care audiences on innovations in targeted therapies for the treatment of lung cancer.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
  • Assess the impact of targeted therapies on lung cancer, utilizing knowledge of the mechanism of action of these agents on cancer growth.

  • Analyze the impact of targeted therapies on lung cancer patient outcomes based on their effect on overall survival and progression-free survival.

  • Using knowledge of efficacy and safety data of emerging biologics and targeted therapies, integrate these agents into customized treatment regimens that enhance compliance, survival, and quality of life for lung cancer patients.
