The call to action has been sounded, and clinicians today have a chance to make a difference in the lives of their patients coinfected with HIV/HCV. Within the context of diminishing HIV-related mortality and the increase of deaths due to liver disease, it is vitally important that clinicians take advantage of the effective treatments available for HIV+ patients coinfected with HCV. We invite you to join other clinicians in your medical community to address the growing problem HCV infection poses for patients already infected with HIV, and hear the latest developments in treatment.
This half-day meeting is unique in that it brings together physicians whose primary clinical focus is the treatment of patients infected with HIV. Because effective care for patients coinfected with HIV/HCV depends on good collaboration between treatment team members, this meeting format will enable participants to examine together the complex issues related to treating these patients. You will hear about the latest scientific and therapeutic developments in the field, and have the opportunity to discuss in detail how to apply these in practice. Please join the team and learn more!
