Dear Colleague,

A special invitation for urologists from Micheal A. O'Donnell MD
The management of superficial bladder cancer can be challenging. In some cases, the disease becomes refractory to standard treatment with intravesical Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG). In others, patients become intolerant of BCG, necessitating the use of alternative treatments. Also challenging are the patients that develop recurrent disease but are poor surgical candidates. To best tailor treatment to the needs of specific patients, it is important to understand the risk-benefit ratio associated with the various treatment options available for superficial bladder cancer. In addition, an appreciation of emerging treatment options is crucial for improving the clinical outcomes of patients with superficial bladder cancer.

You are invited to participate in this case-based CME series, New Prospects in the Treatment of Superficial Bladder Cancer. Created by an outstanding faculty of urologists, the cases and corresponding discussions provide practical strategies for approaching the management of superficial bladder cancer, especially among the more challenging clinical scenarios.

I hope you find this series helpful and informative.

Sincerely,
 MichaelODonnelSig
